RED AS IN PASSION

Not an easy colour by any means. However, it brings joy, passion, energy, warmth...Mat, shiny, silky or lacquered, red is always a touch of life. But red also brings images, music and persons to my mind:
Shall we stroll along a path of random memories ?
First Vivaldi, aka "Il Prete Rosso" (The Red Priest) for his red hair (under the wig he wore).
Yet another great artist who died in solitude and poverty in Wien, Austria (1741)
This is the link to one part of his concerto for mandolin in CMajor RV425.
Vivaldi takes me to Uto Ughi, great violinist (and handsome man) who, although graying now - very seductively, I must say - has red hair, and a heart-breaking smile.
Red, to stay in the musical field, also makes me think of flamenco, that most passionate music and dance and the lovely dresses worn by female dancers
For its affinity with flamenco, a video that I watch again and again. It is a classical version of Boccherini's Fandango with castanets. Just beautiful !

Ah! red ...yes, so many objects, persons, situations:
A lovely, flaming sunset
Luscious cherries
                                                       A tempting(?) apple

The famous Carène

And to end this first (SFW) part,  a glass of red wine...
More to come...but it won't be SFW !
