BERLIN....BIN ICH EIN BERLINER ?
Yes, probably yes, although I was so young when the Wall came down (I'm not speaking of Pink Floyd's, of course).
I spent the last three days in Berlin and I must say they were days well spent. My memories were those of a teen who viewed Berlin as a town divided between West and East. Today, it's a vibrant capital city, rich of events, concerts, exhibitions, culture, architectural renovation and history. I attended two exceptional concerts: Maurizio Pollini on May 17th
and the Berliner Philarmoniker on May 18th, directed by Claudio Abbado. I won't say they were great. It would be a very reductive way to define them.
A friend of mine took me through Potsdam, and especially through some places which are usually not on tourists' maps.
Lovely lakes, wild nature, uncommon village streets...
