PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE WEEK

There's no photographer this week but a wonderful site with vintage pictures, named "I Heart Vintage".
The site is HERE.
This is the beginning
This is the final result as we can enjoy it nowadays.
Hereinafter you can find the whole sequence that
- for obvious reasons - I find wonderful and highly thrilling:
it's titled "Building The Tour Eiffel"

HER SECOND HOME

(Photo by Gilles Caron-Twiggy Place du Trocadero March 1967)

Back again in Paris.
Each time I'm here, I feel her presence.
She loved Paris as much as she loved Venice and Treviso.
I stroll along Avenue de Suffren and stop where she had a flat.
Now there's a different name on the ring-button.
I feel tears filling my eyes and I walk away.
