It's an old fishermen's village called Caorle, not far from Venice.
I never understood why She loved it so much,
But out of love for Her, I went there yesterday
And I viewed it with Her eyes
A simple, peaceful place.
With a historical background
With a very long and wide beach of soft and fine-grained sand
With few people
With a long promenade made of rocks sculptured by many artists
She loved it when it was not yet season and there were few people around.
Like now.
Why, my Sole, didn't I share more of it with you when there was still time ?
She often mentioned this place to me and described Her special feelings for it. She directed me to a web site filled with photos of the sights.

How I longed to walk that beach with Her.
The photos and Her words inspired me to write for Her a story of a walk on the beach.
I miss Her.
