Some little simple flowers, the colour of springtime.
I know you loved them.
This picture was shot - thinking of you - not far from where you lived, in Treviso.

PREMIER MAI
First of May was such a joyous day for Sole.
She usually celebrated this day, in real life, according to French tradition, with giving lilies of the valley to all the people she liked or held close to her.
I think it's only right, today, to remember her with the flowers she loved.
It's only right, too, that I quote her post from last year's 1st of May. You can find it here
Wherever you are, Lovely Lady, Dear Friend, My Special One: Bon 1er Mai, Sole !

SPRINGTIME FINALLY
Even if it's quite cold here in Northern Italy, Sole loved this season.
With its new buds, plants and flowers, its promise of new projects, of new purposes and possibly of new horizons.
Springtime was for her, as it is for me, such an important day
Shorter nights and longer days
Flowers and growing grasses
The first Michaelmas daisies
