I loved both of these films, starring Cate Blanchett (so perfect in this role): Elizabeth and
Elizabeth The Golden Age.

The subject is - no need to say - Elizabeth I who has inspired a number of films (let's remember the one with Bette Davis, among others), plays, series, etc.
Here she is, the Great Elizabeth, in period portraits, the very essence of Power and Majesty.

I'm talking of  Rachel McAdams who has received mixed reactions for her role in
"The Notebook 2004", a definitely romantic film rated at 8.0 with IMDb.
